The Marker in the Car

It was the night of the weekly cook day that my friend and I had been getting together for. It was her turn to host. She said it would be cool to bring my dogs. I have three dogs. A noble, and wise English Springer Spaniel named Ben, a bossy, strong willed diva Miniature Pincher named Paris and a puppy Great Dane called Ella Blu. Not sure how to describe her yet, other then I am really not sure she is at all the smart.
My friend has an American Pit Bull named Nixon. He is a giant teddy bear. We wanted to see how they would all get along. I wanted to be sure the Ella Blu was well socialized with all kinds and sizes of dogs. This was really important also because we would likely have park trips together so that we can chit chat and drink Starbucks while the dogs played.
Took the dogs for a walk before we left just to get them some exercise as they would wait in the car for a bit while I went to the gym before we picked up my friend and went to her place.
Got all three into the car and headed for the gym. Since Paris is so little she was easy to sneak into the gym in my gym bag and she waited in my friend's office while I trained. There was some people at my old work that heard that I had Ella Blu in the car. It had been a while since the last time they saw the dogs and Ella Blu tends to double in size ever 5 seconds. I went to the car and fetched the rest of the dogs.
Looked into the car and it had been re decorated a little. Nothing major Ben and Ella Blu found some toys that I did not even know were in the car. There was a couple other things that I was like what the hell are those but just grabbed the leashes and took all three to the front door to see everyone. Things went a little crazy Ella Blu still gets very excited to see people and jumps around (we are working on it and it was coming).
Everyone was excited to see her too. The all commented on how much larger she was for a minute or to. Then everyone stopped and stared at her. I looked and she had green all over her... Oh yes I remember. I had a green smelly marker in the car and she had obviously ate it. She had green on her white paws, all over her nose and mouth. My pretty baby dog had green all over her. This was no good.
Well not much I could do really. It was a great lesson learned.
Do not leave markers in a car with a white dog.
