It has been a while since a Look Better Naked entry
But not any longer. Today was legs day and as usual a killer workout, well even more so today then usual. I walked out of the gym with a Steak Ass and Tree Trunk Legs today! H U G E!
Today's workout: warm up on the bike for 10 min. All set of 3 reps 6 – 10. Power legs here should struggle for the last two. Likely need a spot for this workout. Percentage or body weight is the minimum to lift here, maybe for the first set and go up from there.
Sumo Squats 80 % body weight. Very wide squat gets more into the inter tights hams and glutes.
Wide stance dead lifts 135 % body weight. Great for the hams again and glutes and help strengthen the back along with it.
Standing calf raises. Do a weight that you can only crank out about 8 or 9. Calf strength varies so dramatically from person to person so just aim for failure not more then 10
Front Squats 85%. These squats keep more of the weight in the front on your legs (quads) but still great for legs in general.
Reverse leg curls on a decline bench. the straighter the legs the harder.
